In this 4-week course we will learn how to ‘design’ a painting - from creating a pleasing composition, using reference images, and planning your colour palette. The first lesson will be a study in composition. You will be drawing tablescapes from life with charcoal (or choose your favourite medium to draw with). In the following 3 weeks you will be painting a tablescape in acrylics on canvas.
