This is a Wednesday morning class once a week over 4 weeks. Each week we will focus on a different topic and a different aspect of watercolour painting, e.g. landscape, portraits, animal portraits, still lives, flowers. Tuition will support each artists’ individual progress with new techniques added each week. It is lovey to see how students grow in confidence and skills as we encourage each other to navigate through every experiment, failure, and success.
This course is suitable for beginners and intermediate painters. If you don’t own watercolour paints come to the first class and first use some of mine - then you will have a much better idea what to buy.
The first class includes all materials needed
You have to supply your own materials for subsequent classes ( Watercolour paints, 300gsm watercolour paper, 1 big round brush no 16, masking tape )
Time: 9:30am - 12:00 noon
Venue: 86 Victoria Street, Rangiora ( above Thrive )
Dates: 27 August and 3, 10, 17 September 2025
